Glocks don't need break-in, your G26 will shoot anything you load into it the minute you take it out of the box. Sling as much cheap ball ammo you can find! Try different weights (I like shooting 124/147gr in 9mm but 115gr is just fine) but don't forget to also shoot a mag or two of your preferred carry ammo.

If the Ranger 127+P+ is doing 1246FPS out of a G-26, use that IF you can control it and make follow up shots because chances are, what ever is in the woods that will coming for you will probably require something a bit more than 9mm. will afford you I'd think.

I like Magtech 124gr fmj for range and Speer 124gr Gold Dots for carry.
.I generally prefer the 124gr weight in 9mm in a shorter gun.
You need to do more research I don't think this is an all inclusive list but this is generally accepted as the best defense ammo for the 9mm. I don't see PDX1 on it but I believe, it's the same or equivalent to the Winchester Ranger. The legendary Federal 115 +p+ 9BPLE isn't on this list either as the thinking is the heavier round equal more penetration and the 115 +p+ doesn't do so well in.
