The 19C's accuracy was average for the pistol, comparable to the standard GLOCK 19. Shooting from a supported benched position at 25 yards, the average group size was roughly four inches, regardless of the ammo fired. At extended distances of 50 yards, accuracy was also consistent on C- zone steel. A lot of people shun compensated pistols.

2,627 Posts. #3 · Jul 30, 2016. The 17c is my favorite gun to shoot but I use it for range/competition. The slots near the end of the barrel do let gasses escape upwards, that's the whole point, but I can't imagine it's comfortable when held close to the body.

The Glock I purchased is easy to handle. As a woman I hoped it would not be too much gun, but I was pleasantly surprised. Was a bit skeptical based on the reviews, but have to say that I really like the combo of the 17 and 19. I like the extra mags and also.

The aggressive texture of the grip surface allows for comfortable and reliable operation of the pistol.
The Gen 5 Glock 19 9mm is a great improvement from the previous generations. The marksman Barrel enables better accuracy by far, and the new factory finish is amazing. Have put 200+ rounds through mine using a variation of Blaser Brass FMJ 115grain bullets and federal FMJ 115 grain rounds. No failures whatsoever. Love it. Was this review helpful?
