Glock G43 9mm Review

Nicky June 4, 2022

They're machined from aluminum and attach securely to the magazine body. The +1 base pad adds very little length to the overall grip — even less than the factory mag that has the pinky extension. But I remain skeptical about its long term viability. Magazine springs are typically engineered very carefully to ensure reliable feeding and long life.

For a 9mm gun, the Glock 43 has respectable power behind it. Shooting is tight and easy to control. You don't need to be a seasoned veteran to get acclimated to this gun. At no time during my review did I experience any problems with firing. Like most Glocks, it's clear that a lot of workmanship went into the production of this gun.

Gun Review: The Ultra-Compact Glock 43 9mm Only 6.26 inches long, 1.02 inches wide and weighing 17.95 ounces with an unloaded mag, the G43 packs 6+1 rounds of 9mm firepower in a truly tiny package built for concealed carry and backup duty. It also operates just like all other Glock pistols, so it'll pair well with its full-sized brethren. 2 of 6

The G43 is incredibly popular because it's one of the most compact 9mm pistols available, it shines for everyday use as a carry gun and has a wide array of aftermarket support when it comes to holsters and upgraded components. While it is very easy to choose a worse EDC handgun than the G43, it is perhaps even harder to find a better one.

The G43 is extremely manageable with all of the loads mentioned above. I purposely didn't run any +P through it because I was more interested in seeing if it was enjoyable enough to shoot during extended, meaningful range sessions—the kind of practice that really counts.

With its six-round flush fit capacity, the Glock 43 isn't what you'd call a high-capacity handgun. Considering their options like the SIG P365 on the market now, the Glock 43 seems lacking. When compared to the SIG P365 and the Springfield Armory Hellcat. The gun is very slick and slim.

The G43 feels natural in the hand, with a sure grip (with a built-in beaver tail design), particularly while using the pinky extension-equipped mag. Large-pawed shooters who aren't using the G43 for a back-up gun (probably) need not apply. Ergonomics (shooting): * * * * * Comfortable enough to shoot at the range. You know, for fun.

The Glock G43 offers the possibility of replacing both pistols. It is small and flat enough to carry in a pants pocket, yet has the horsepower of the 9 mm cartridge. Its limited capacity would, of.

In conclusion, the Glock 43 is an excellent example of everything the 9mm single stack should be and a superb carry gun. It may be snappier than the fuller sized guns, but it has an impressive array of aftermarket accessories to it, it's reliable, and it has a track record that no one can complain about.

The already legendary G43 is a GLOCK Single stack, 9 mm Luger caliber pistol. It is ultra-concealable, accurate and a fantastic tool for all shooters.

The aesthetics on the Glock 43 are actually pretty good. The grip does look a little long in the back. But overall, it seems fairly proportional.

Picking up the gun, anyone familiar with a Glock will feel a bit at home and a bit uneasy. The handgun is small, a true mouse gun. At only 6″ long and about 4.25″ tall, it's certainly smaller than the standard double-stack Glocks, but with the drastically thinner and shortened grip, it feels diminutive.
