Glocks simply dont need to be cleaned as regularly as different handguns. When I had Sigs and 1911s they were given wiped clean after each variety ride as they function first-rate whilst clean and lubricated.
Personally, I think its wise to clean everything up after each time you go shooting, but I know there are those die hard people who say that that is "over cleaning" and it is bad for it.

Ideally, pistols you don't carry with you should be cleaned after every range day, and at the very least after three range trips. Smokeless powder and quality.
